Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and I hope you are enjoying this special time. I am aware that this can also be an extremely stressful period but it need not be so.

 

By choosing the right people to help your day come together smoothly you can save an incredible amount of time and worry. My role as a Celebrant is to eliminate as much pressure as I can from you in relation to compiling and organising your ceremony in accordance with your wishes.

 

 

 

I have officiated at over 1400 weddings and still gain immense satisfaction from every one. My couples vary from 20 year old “high school sweethearts” to older lovers with 6 marriages and 10 kids between them!!

I have performed ceremonies at palatial homes on majestic grounds and fire-side services at camping grounds.  I have an exceptional ability to relate to people from all walks of life and make them feel comfortable and valued.

My sense of humour and warm, friendly nature tends to appeal to most people.

Through other services I provide, such as Name-giving ceremonies and Renewal of Vows, I have been able to maintain fairly regular contact with many of my couples well after their weddings. A lot regard me as “a friend” or even “part of the family.”   I find this extremely gratifying and humbling.

Although I view your wedding as a serious commitment to each other, I also see it as an opportunity to rejoice and celebrate your love. Together we can compose a ceremony that reflects your style and nature.                                                                          I also offer an elopement style ceremony where you may marry at my home, at a reduced fee,  with up to 10 guests present.

 

 

At present 75% of marriages are non-religious which reflects a preference for shorter, more personal services that all in attendance can relate to. I feel totally confident that you and your guests will enjoy your ceremony and that it will be exactly as we have agreed upon. I guarantee it will be happy, relaxed and meaningful and I will speak with warmth and clarity. I have always been a member of the Association of Civil Celebrants Victoria and I strictly adhere to their standards and code of ethics.

 Weddings are not merely a job for me; they are a passion and a joy and I love having a role in making your day the most special one of your lives.

Celebrants of my experience are commanding between $800 and $1100. My fee is around $650 which includes the Lodgement of The Notice of Intended Marriage.If you obtain a very cheap quote you MUST ask yourself and the Celebrant WHY. Your ceremony is the only NECESSITY of the day and constitutes a tiny proportion of your wedding budget. Please DO NOT trust the most important day of your life to some-one who may not know what they are doing!
